Miranda and T1D Son Elias
I’m Miranda, a mom of two, T1D advocate, coffee lover, and chaos navigator. I live in Michigan with my partner Michael, and together we’re raising our two amazing kids, Aleecia and Elias.
When Elias was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in April 2024, he wanted us to share his story. We don’t have many T1D families in our area, so we’ve been sharing ever since. We talk about T1D, family life, teenager things, and all the messy, meaningful stuff in between.
Most days you’ll find me behind the camera, designing something, or trying to keep up with life using honesty, heart, and a little humor.
